Just like burgers, Koftas can be fairly healthy depending on what you put in them. Using low fat yogurt and only a tsp of oil to fry the Koftas also helps keeps the saturated fat to a minimum for a healther meal.

Ingredients

For the koftas

150g Lamb Mince

1 Tsp Cumin

Optional Pinch of Chilli Flakes

1 Clove of Crushed garlic

2 Pinches of Salt

Other

1/2 Tomato, seeds removed and diced

5 Tbsp Natural yogurt

1/2 Lime

2 Pinches of Salt

2 wraps or Flatbreads

Half a Handful of Coriander

Method

1) Mix together all of the kofta ingredients and shape into short sausage shapes, place in the fridge for 10/15 minutes to chill.

2) Mix together the diced tomato, yogurt, lime and salt. Set aside

3) Heat a frying pan with a little oil and fry off the koftas until browned and cooked through. Serve in wraps with a good spoon of yogurt and fresh coriander.
